In 2014 we hosted “Two Golf Nights for Ladies” at the Carrying Place Golf and Country Club. Despite a few showers, we had over 100 ladies enjoy free golf clinics conducted by the Pro Staff, 9 holes of recreational golf, a wonderful buffet dinner and our Caregiver Heroes Program.

For many of the ladies (most of whom are caregivers), it was their first time to play golf. For others, who rarely play golf, our golf nights gave them opportunities to re-new their joy of playing golf. Everyone had a great time, enjoyed recreational games of golf and agreed that it is important to stay physically active while enjoying time with friends.

The Carrying Place Golf and Country Club was so impressed with our program, that they have offered us the opportunity to make this an annual event with them.

We wish to thank the Ontario Government for supporting this project. We look forward to more recreational golf, for more ladies (and especially caregivers) in the future.
