On average, 5 per cent of funds raised annually are directed towards administrative and development costs, with 95 per cent going directly towards carrying out our charitable activities and programs of offering education and support to family caregivers.
Caregiving Matters is a not-for-profit registered charitable organization providing services to our clients free of charge. We count on the generosity of our donors and sponsors to help ensure that whenever the need arises, Caregiving Matters is there to help.
United Way donations can be directed toward Caregiving Matters by noting us and our charitable registration number (82293 0616 RR0001) on your enrollment form.

You can donate online through our customized link to CanadaHelps.org.
CanadaHelps.org is a not-for-profit charity portal that provides an online giving service to registered charities. When you make a donation to Caregiving Matters via CanadaHelps, we receive 97% of the donation. CanadaHelps retains 3% to cover the cost, including the credit card fee charged to CanadaHelps by your financial institution.
Within minutes of making a donation, you will receive an electronic tax receipt mailed to the email address you provided in the donation process. You can save and print this receipt at any time to use for income tax purposes. Because CanadaHelps.org is a charity (Charitable Business Number 896568417RR0001), you will be receipted for your donation by CanadaHelps.org.
