Many employees (especially women) today are sandwiched between work responsibilities, caring for their own families, and caring for an ill or aging family member. Balancing these responsibilities is truly a juggling act. We have two programs to help. They are:
Lunch & Learns
Are for small groups of employees. Lunch time presentations will be customized to meet the needs of the employees. Some employers have asked for a series of presentations over a 12 month period. We are happy to meet with employers to better understand what information and lunch time learning sessions will be of value to them.
Wellness Fairs
Are designed to broaden understanding and awareness about products and services available to employees with ill or aging family members. We discuss strategies for managing issues such as:
- Health
- Finances
- Life Transitions
Hosting employers:
- Provide the room
- Provide and set up tables to display the vendors’ products and services
- Promote the event to employees
Our Wellness Fairs add value by helping working women decrease stress and providing timely resources and solutions to employees in their workspace.
How much does it cost? That’s a good question. We ask that the hosting companies make a donation to our charity to help cover our costs (tax receipts will be issued.)
