Nancy speaks so lovingly and proudly about her son Jessey. Jessey has special needs and is an inspiration to many. His drive, determination and kind spirit are core to who he is. Nancy continues to advocate for people with special needs and is so proud of Jessey’s accomplishments.
Jessey is an active 23 year old man. He loves to watch the local hockey team and volunteers to help them when he can and is also very active as a volunteer at the local fire hall. Nancy is a loving, supportive caregiver to Jessey and believes that their whole family is very lucky, blessed and honoured to have such a great son.
To honour Nancy for her long life caregiving, we gave her a new jewellery box. Jessey thought that he would like new sheets for his bed. We enjoyed our afternoon visiting with an amazing caregiver and her equally amazing son, Jessey!

Glad that you like our Caregiver Heroes Program. We continue to meet amazing people. I met up with Nancy the other day and she tells me that Jessey is doing fine and enjoying that hockey is again on TV. How fun!
