Meet Rose and Katherine with Mary Bart, Chair of Caregiving Matters at a recent Parkinson Society support group meeting.
Rose and Katherine are family caregivers who attended a recent presentation that I did for a support group involved with Parkinson Society of Canada. There were about 20 people in attendance. After my presentation, everyone enjoyed our Caregiver Heroes Program. Some of the ladies are pictures here with me. Katherine took home a purple kettle (how fun is that?) and Rose went home with a beautiful copper bottom saucepan. Others also went home with amazing kitchen items.
They have invited me back again next year. I hope to bring even more gifts to honour and thank family caregivers for all they do.
