Renato is an in-house technology lawyer with over 12 years’ experience practicing law in the computer software and telecommunications industries. He has a particular affinity for transactional work focusing primarily on commercial transactions involving information technology and intellectual property.
Renato’s primary goal as a lawyer is to situate legal issues in a business context in order to empower his clients to make informed decisions.
Renato obtained his B.A. and LL.B from the University of Ottawa in 1992 and 1996 respectively, and his LL.M in Intellectual Property from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2005.
More recently, in the spirit of giving and community involvement, Renato decided to apply his legal and business experience in the not-for-profit sector, and volunteered to help “Caregiving Matters”.
