Sue joined us for our recent golf event for women caregivers. The program is designed to encourage caregivers to enjoy recreational golf and take some time for themselves. Here is a picture of Sue enjoying the day and later during dinner, she shared her caregiving story with us.
Here is her story:
“Together with my teenaged sister, I was the primary caregiver to our parents in their battles with cancer. Later, my father-in-law required a great deal of supportive care during multiple surgeries. Currently, my mother-in-law requires frequent help with appointments after a diagnosis of macular degeneration. My professional life involved caregiving as a medical Laboratory Technologist”.
