Roger is a bread deliveryman in Calgary, Alta. But life got derailed early, when his wife Heather was diagnosed with thyroid cancer – “the puppy dog of cancers” – and then uterine cancer. So taking care of Heather and their daughter is like another full-time job. Roger says: “I just want my family to have a normal life again, and that keeps me going.” Roger’s story is a part of the Being There series, led by Mike Lang.
