It is clear that the current pandemic has been stressful and hard for everyone. Although, this article touches on the implications and consequences it has had on older generations. Older generations have been hit hard by the current pandemic as seen through increased mortality rates, negative attitudes regarding ageism, and unfortunately increases in elder abuse during isolation.
