DAY BY DAY

As each hour passes day by day,
Sometimes struggling what to say,
Fog and clouds inside my head,
Cannot speak what should be said,
Frustration reigns and tempers flare
Feel so alone with no one there,
Family friends are all around,
Yet in my head, deafening sounds,
Sounds of loneliness’ and despair,
Sometimes all too much too bear,
Tears flow, from my eyes,
Sobbing sounds, anguished cries,
Never felt so alone,
This illness always sets the tone,
But in these depths, of despair,
My “Angel” Elaine is always there,
I`m not lonely for very long,
As we sing our favourite song,

HELP ME REMEMBER

Please help me remember, at this time of year,
All the good times, as well as the tears,
The night`s draw in, it gets so cold,
But my memories are not so bold,
A smile, a tune, someone`s face,
My mind it struggles to embrace,
All that’s happened, this year past,
Why can’t memories forever last?
So will you help me, remember when?
Time`s were good, way back then,
When good time`s ruled, and laughter heard
And children played without a care,
Just one memory is all I ask,
Surely not an impossible task,
So sit with me and remember when,
And bring those memories back again.

Best wishes, Norrms and family xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
