The Mississauga Halton CCAC honours paid and unpaid caregivers in the community at their annual Heroes in the Home awards. Since 2010, they have honoured more than 396 deserving Heroes who go above and beyond to improve the lives of those impacted by age, illness or disability.
To ensure that they recognize as many Heroes as possible in their region, they have extended the 2014 Heroes in the Home submission deadline to Wednesday, October 1.
All Heroes are honoured at one of three ceremonies in October.
- Milton: Oct. 15 at the Teatro Conference Centre
- Mississauga: Oct. 21 at the Mississauga Convention Centre
- Oakville: Oct. 23 at the Oakville Conference Centre
