Strong sibling relationships can fracture under caregiving stress

A lot of stress between siblings occurs when one sibling is not cognizant of all the components of care that are being provided, says Nira Rittenberg, co-author of Dementia A Caregiver’s Guide. 

In this Star article, Rittenberg gives advice on dealing with anger, frustration and feelings of unfairness that can develop when one of sibling is doing a disproportionate amount of the caregiving work than another.
