We tend to lose sight of the fact that, while the population is aging, seniors are healthier than any time in history: 85 is the new 65.
As the population ages, caregiving is also becoming a hot-button issue.
“You make me crazy, Mom,” I say.
“You make me crazy, too, baby,” she answers.
“Making each other crazy. Now that’s something we can always do for each other!” she says and beams a smile toward me. I beam the same one back.”
