Memory & Company expands to Oakville, Ontario.

Memory & Company will soon be opening their newest location in Oakville, Ontario.

We had an opportunity to interview Ashley Kwong, Owner, Founder & CEO of Memory & Company and here is what she shared with us.

 

WHAT WE ARE:

Memory & Company is the world’s first Respite Hotel and Premium Day Program. We specialize in the health and happiness of families living with Memory Loss by providing the gold standard of care and support. All in a beautiful one storey, fully accessible, secure and thoughtfully designed environment that ANYONE would enjoy.

Respite Hotel: Boutique loft–like setting, 35 Private Suites. Premium Day Program. Included with all stays. Exceptional staffing ratios based on level of care, and 24–hour on–site nursing.

We offer stays as short as three nights, to as long as people need with our open–ended stays (no maximum stay).

All–inclusive accommodations and care for 3–7–day stays start at $355.00 per day/night, that’s works out to $14.79 per hour, a fraction of the price of home care. Those staying 30 consecutive days or more with us receive preferred pricing starting at $315.00 per day. All pricing is determined based on assessed level of care, to ensure our Members get the time and attention they deserve. All rooms are private studio suites
with their own two–piece washroom and include personal care, meals, bathing assistance, nursing and medication management, laundry, housekeeping, and our Premium Day Program. We are also HST exempt and tax deductible. We also provide 24–hour on–site nursing, visiting doctor service, collaborative pharmacy services, and a minimum 5:1 staffing ratio to ensure our Members get the time and attention they deserve.

Premium Day Program: Oakville opening May 2022. Open 7 days–a–week– 7am–10pm. Customized Memberships. Half Day and Full Day Programs available. Flexible and fixed Membership depending on how frequently you would like to attend.

We help slow down memory loss with our innovative cognitive and physical fitness, social and recreational programs and therapies focusing on improving quality of life. We offer a movie theatre, music/fitness room, recreational room, nap room, beauty salon, outdoor lounge, open concept gourmet kitchen and a beautiful restaurant style dining space.

Our Members get the VIP treatment and spend the day at their club being active and social, enjoying nutritious meals made by our own executive chef. Our Members get pampered with personal care and 24–hour nursing support by trained staff that truly understand Memory Care and cater to their every need because that is all we do. Pricing starts for full days at $121.00 per day for up to 11 hours, that’s just $11.00 per hour. Half days start at $76.00 or $19.00 per hour. That’s a fraction of the price of home care, along with many added benefits. This price includes meals, snacks, programs, care support, and nursing and medication management as well as ALL our wonderful programs and activities. We are HST exempt. All hours and days of the week are customizable (see pricing for more detailed info).

We also offer spa, bathing, and outside services for an additional fee to save caregivers from running from appointment to appointment. Our Premium Day program is open 7–days–a–week from 7am–10pm. We customize all days and hours to suit each individual family needs.
