The very active Katharine broke her leg while at Cub Camp in 2014. The break required emergency surgery and she could not let her foot touch the floor for 3 months.
She lived in a hospital bed in their living room while her husband Colin took care of her, the house and their very busy kids.
She was off work until Sept 2015 and is back teaching part time. Further surgery is planned for 2016.
